FIRST DATNOID! :D

Finally got my first dat! Looked like a really good price at the fish store so I decided to pick him up labeled as "gold tiger Datnoid. Paid $35 and is about 4.5" pretty thick too! Will post more pics later! Any ideas on a good diet for him? Store said he eats bloodworms, krill, and feeders.

Looks like an indo,stick with the krill and bloodworms and eventually try to get him on a good sinking pellet.Try to stay away from feeders.

I'll definitely stay away from feeders, I'll stick with the bloodworms for now cuz I don't have any krill with me right now, thanks!

Cool I don't know much about dats haha. How fast do they grow? If fed very well and a clean tank?

Nice pick up. Seems they very on how fast they grow 3 of mine went from a inch to around 5 inches in 3 months. They other 2 no where near that size yet.
