First datnoid no clue what though

Ive been looking for dats in uk for over 2 years. Then yesterday i happened to see a small black fish at the back of one of my lfs tanks.
Took a punt and bought the fish as it was all black but resembles a datnoid.

Assuming its an indo...

Pic not loading. Do a google search on young Lutjanus argentimaculatus (Mangrove Jack). A lot of this species are sold as Dats when young.

Years ago some shops in my town would get those young Jacks in and label them as red finned datnoids.Of course they are not dats and I have not seen them in any local shops for quite some time.

Well,the little ones were relatively cheap when they would come in years ago but I've seen prices for them online and they seem to have jumped in price these days....like everything else I guess.

Being an Australian fish I would think it would be common in the shops in Europe.
