I just got my first datnoid about 3 days ago. He is very stable with beautiful colors. It's a thin bar about 4". I was just wondering what I should feed him. I have thrown in nightcrawlers for my other fish and he eyeballs them but doesn't eat them. What do you guys suggest?

krills, market shrimp thats what i started with mine. if the lfs fed it live feeders then it will be hard to get the thinbars on whichever food you give it. but the theory here is that MOST fish will not starve itself to death. so just give it time and it should eat at least something.
Just make sure you give it some variety. I had some Dats that I fed Freeze-Dried Shrimp and it wouldn't take anything, but FD Shrimp. I eventually got them on Frozen Shrimp and Tilapia, but that took forever.
