I was thinking of converting one of my 10 gallon aquariums into a sump or wet/dry, I know nothing about building either of these so anyone with some help would be very appreciated. If this seems to complicated for me I will probably use it as an aquarium for a cool little stock list I found.

There's no reason it can't be converted into a sump. Depending on how you do it, it will probably be suitable to filter a 40-50 gallon tank.

well i dont have any below my 70 and the two 10g. the other is not really an aquarium so i dont know if it would hold water

With 10G tank, the ability to hold the extra water volume get to be a bit tricky and very precise.
