After reading loads of fantastic stand builds on here I thought i'd give it a go. During the summer my neighbor gave me some dressed 1.5x2.5" pine timber to burn on my stove in the garden but I never did as it was to good to burn & thought it would come in handy for something. A few weeks ago I was helping my mate to clear out his garage so he could get a racking system in for his tanks & gave me a few kitchen doors & an old pine shelving unit. Well as they say one thing leads to another so I have started building a double stand to hold my 36x12x15" tank on the top & a 18x12x12" tank lower down with a cuboard to one side for my external filter & a draw under the smaller tank to house all the fish food & meds. All of the joints have been glued & screwed together & there is no movment in the stand at all & the best bit is going to be the cost as it should work out costing around £10 to build
I'll update as I go
