Sort of OT I suppose, but I have a request. Does anyone have an unboxing video of a fish shipment? I'd like to get a better idea of how these fish are packed and shipped before I order livestock online. Thanks.
Thats exciting - I've kept viejas since August of last year & I love them. No zonatus for me, but they're one of my favorite. Bifas are really fast growers & pound food.
@gregor7777 - don't hesitate. Just buy from a reputable vendor - such as Gage and you"ll have no problems. Fish come triple+ bagged, packed tightly in a styrofoam cooler. Bags wrapped w/ newspaper to lessen stress. Coolers have heat packs in them to keep the water temp high. I've gotten 7 orders, probably close to 100 fish and only had one DOA. I'll never use a LSF for stock again.
