Its been years since my favorite ever fish Falkor the 18" stars and stripes puffer died. He was like my dog only better. Most personality I've ever seen in a fish. Hand fed like a greedy dog. Not really into salt anymore, but wanted another fish with that kind of interaction. So... got this guy (Tubby) toward the end of January from LFS at about 4". Its now August and he's doing great at 8". Got everything I was hoping for in a freshwater version of my old S&S. Greedy and personable in every way. Stoked to watch it grow. Top pic is current. Great transformation from the 4" mark looks awesome.

Thanks brother! He's a monster pig just like my S&S. Will only stop eating when I stop putting food in. Lol. So happy to have a puffer again. 🙂👍

Almost 2" in 2.5 months. Closing in on the 10" mark. Just ate 2 jumbo shrimp and begging for more. Lol. And I said above, that I wasn't really into marine tanks much anymore. But, have had a 100gal salt tank cycling in the garage for 1.5yrs or more. So, back in a little I guess. Lobsters are absolutely awesome. About 12" now. By far the most dog like fish intelligence wise in my care currently. Very similar to my border collie/Australian Sheppard. Lol20240303_181803.jpg20240303_181801.jpg
