Hi I m thinking of building a filter for a small trout pond I just wanted to run it by you guys before I started. The pond or tank will be about 6ft x 4ft x 3ft tall heres what Im thinking
put dollar store plastic pot scrubbers in the bottom and then I m not sure if its ok to use polyester fiber fill that they use in quilts instead of filter floss and to top it off activated carbon, drill a hole in the top of a Rubbermaid container pump water in there drill smaller holes in the bottom to let it run out. Im going to put it over the one end of the tank and just let it drain into it. This is my first attempt at building at building a monster filter any input would be greatly appreciated If you have trouble understanding let me know,
