First Flowerhorn - Red Dragon Progress

So I picked up my first flowerhorn from Albert about a week ago. He's a 2.5 inch Red Dragon Male. The darkish natural gravel is probably going to be temporary, but he likes to play with it. I figured it would help him be less stressed as he settles in. He's much darker compared to when it was barebottom. He is eating very well and is active.

And yesterday I picked up, what I believe to be, a Petsmart Kamfa. It is extremely active and eats a lot.


What kind of treatments (internal / external) do you use when you get a new flowerhorn?
So far all I have done is soak his food in Epsom Salt solution, and salt the tank.

it's a beautiful fish, i do have a red monkey head kamfa, they are beautiful fish

i am giving the pics of my fish, the water in hospital tank appear dirty due to medicine.

What medicine are you treating them with?

it is malachite green and methylene blue.

in india some parasite related infections are common during monsoon. so the above mentioned medicine are for prevention purpose.

Only update so far is that the PK ate one of the 6 danios he's living with.
