These are a few pics. of my pond last year. It was it's first full growing season. I built it in Sep. of 05. This being it's third year I think it should be booming.

Very Nice! Lilly Pads are definitely the most beautiful water plant that I've encountered.

Thanks, that was just one I tried to post. I ran out of time b4 work. I will try to post more now.

Just goldfish... Shubukins, Sarrassa's, and a few Red Comets. Last year I grew out 4 Oscars and 6 Frontosas. The Oscars I got from a friend the year before. I put them in the pond the first year (at about 3") for about a month while I got a 90 set-up in my garage for the winter. I put them in the pond last year at about 4-5" and they came out in Sept. at 9-12". They had great color and super fat. The Frontosas were not as fast growing but 1-1.5" put in June got to 3.5-4.5" in Sept. Again awesome colors and really healty. Lost one in the first week to my skimmer, but the others were fine. Not sure if I am going to do any cichlids this year. My goldfish just began spawning so I want to see how many and what color babbies i have. If they are mostly just red or orange comets I might cull them and put a few in.

That is an excellent looking pond!!

Thanks, I will be posting some more photos from this season very soon.

Besides the lillies it looks like you have some water letuce in there. I heard it grows really fast and provides great cover for the fish, is that true. Great job, the pond looks amazing, great natural looking design.
