first gar please help

i just got a mosaic gar dont really know to much anything people can tell me about these fish will really help. it is in a 30 gallon tank along with a red pacu and blue geromie. thanks for the help

That fish is way to jumpy to be in a 30 long. It is going to be bashing its face all the time. Try and avoid fast movements on our side of the glass or hes gonna break his face.

i dont think your gar will live in a 30 long all its life at all, it will prob outgrow, esp if its a true gar

needs a bigger tank (wider), will max out at about a foot
pls ditch the pacu!

didnt realise he said mosaic. personally id research my ass off before getting a fish, then i know how to care for it in the first place/if i can have/still want it
