i have decided to get a gecko i would like to know what kinds of geckos are good starters, and what they require as in space and food and other esentials. pics would be appreciated.

Get a crested (Rhacodactylus Ciliatus) there awesome.

They need high humidity. They eat banana baby food and crickets. no real need for any lighting either.

Cresteds get quite tame, Tokays are also great starters but they do bite and bark. both require a heat source.

leopard geckos are easy too they are nocturnal though so a red heat lamp or ceramic heat emiter is needed

Leopards are easy, but make sure you have the time and resources to keep them fed. I bought one and accumulated another, and getting crickets was a major pain in the butt, for me and the Gecks. And in my opinion, leopards, although pretty, are boring! Best of luck

For geckos anything up to the size of a tokay can get but in a 20G.
