So this is my first time having any sort of fry. I have them separated in a breeder net and am feeding them hikari first bites. I can't really tell if they are eating though. A lot of the food floats on the top. Is it okay to let it sit there? Any suggestions for raising these guys would be appreciated! Thanks :)

Keeping the tank warm will get them to grow much faster then an unheated tank. Feed a lot and do frequent water changes and you should be set. Good Luck!

For sure update on those first bites... those killed my molly fry for some reason when I've raised plenty of fry and when i tried that poof dead. Idk you may have better chance w/ guppys i find them more resilient then molly or platy fry. You could have fun w/ the whole breeding guppys too, if its not just for feeders for other fish. I've traded black x creamsicle molly to an LFS for like 3$ each n they charged 6?

Be prepared for much more fry! just keep water changes often and feed regularly wait a few months then sell them to you lfs
