i've been with my current company, nothing to write home about, since i was a sophomore in college. i consider it to be a "college" type job. there is room to advance to a manager, which i could prolly do within 2yrs, but pay isn't great for what it is.

on monday i have my first interview in 5yrs and my first one since graduating last december. its with a government agency which is pretty awesome. its related to my field of study, biology, and that's a big plus. its actually for two different positions, one here in the atlanta area and in a field office in savannah.

im pretty nervous since they are pretty intense with the interview process. monday i interview and take some kind of testing, i think a personality test. then if they want to continue the process i go back for a polygraph test, they research my financial background, and even talk to people i hang out with.

wish me luck :D

good luck!

its probably a skills assessment test. they don't usually test personality with a paper test, they tend to try and assess that from the face to face interview.

if its a biology related job, you will probably be tested on your knowledge of that particular area of biology. in my field for example, water/wastewater treatment, after the interview we were given a 45 minute exam testing directly our knoweldge of water/ wastewater treatment.

chances are, its this kind of test but you could call to find out more. if it is, you will benefit from studying. You may also require a calculator if it is in fact an academic type test.

good luck!
