So I guess I am on the small side of some of the monster tanks I have seen on here. But I figured I would make a nice post about my new setup. I just moved my 12-14" Oscar into his nice new 75 Gallon tank. He is also in there with a 11-12" Common Pleco. I have 6 other aquariums as well ranging from 5 Gallon-55 Gallon.

Here is a picture of my 75 gallon. I plan on building a 250-350 Gallon tank in the near future.

Any advice for decorating would be greatly appreciated as well just looking for something simple to help hide my filters/heaters as well as give the pleco some hiding places.

Fake/Real Plants - Depends on if the oscar eats them. And drift wood. You dont want to many decors and anything bulky or it will take up to much space in the tank for the oscar to swim.

the O will dig up or tear up any plant you put in there, real or fake. driftwood would be an improvement. the pleco would like it too.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I am thinking soon as spring rolls around I am going to go hunting for a decent sized piece of drift wood. I have a couple old tanks out in my garage I could more then likely soak it out there first as a test run.

Oscar looks great, get a cave or something for the pleco. Tank would look nice with a background also.

I know your generally right, but my Os are in a planted tank and fish and plants are fine

yea gotta agree, poor mr plecy needs some bogwood to graze on!

got some BIG bushy plants and put rocks on the roots very close, the O shouldn't be able to move it...Plantrs on driftwood would be the best idea, get a very very heavy piece of driftwood so the O cannot move it ATALL! Altough I have seen Os in planted tanks...
