First nest of Trimac juvies

Was able to save and raise a few of the first nest of my Amphilophus Trimaculatus couple. Now between 2 and 3 inch an already starting to be real little bastards. Next nest started freeswimming a week ago, hopefully more survivors than the 13 little buggers from the first nest

They are fat indeed. Lol.

will try to make pics of the parents soon, they are still young as well. Mom measuring around 4-5 inch and dad around 5-6 inch

Surprising how small they will breed at. Im raising out a solo male at the moment. He is about 9” and would pass along some nice features if I ever did breed him. Look forward to seeing your trimac parents.

They were already breeding in the tank at the fish store. They aren’t full on color yet, maybe as well because they are in a quite dark breeding tank.
The father just recovered 2 months ago from columnaris didease which still shows some markings.

Just before i took the first picture I told them they had to go on a diet for a few weeks, that's why they are looking that angry at me.
