Got this guys about 3 weeks ago they were about 2.5 in, any knowledge would be greatly appreciated. Temp is 82 and they have been eating feeders, blood worms, and brine shrimp. Also trying slowly to get them into pellets. And ID would be appreciated :D

congrats on your first pair of peacock bass! I would bump the heat up to 85-86F, at this temp you will need plenty of aeration so add an aerator if you dont already have one running. A good method to get them onto pellets, try mashing pellets into their bloodworm and slowly increasing the amount of pellet vs bloodworm until they are 100% on pellets.

Baby peacock bass are very susceptible to getting ich, by raising the temp you increase the chances of them staying healthy.

And their appetite, & metabolism increases, causing them to get out of the small delicate stage with added food.

I had an argument with someone about this on mfk a few weeks back...they said increased metabolism does not make fish grow faster...
