Never been a huge fan of parachromis, but I figured I would give them a try. It seems out of many CA cichlids parachromis tend to form strong pair bonds and have great personality. Originally I just going to get jags but their potential size put me off to them. So, I got some parachromis friedrichsthalii instead. They are still a bit shy and my camera isn't great so the pics are not all that but they seem to be settling in well. Despite being a little on the skittish side they seem to be coming around, I got 3males and 4 females. Hopefully I get a compatible pair there is already lots of gill flaring and chasing going on.

On a side not my male centrarchus is now solo in a 29. I couldn't sell him so he will be my wetpet. I plan to add some mollies to make the tank nice and to help him come out. He has been hiding for the last week. I gave away the female I am done with breeding centrarchus. Because male centrarchus get so freakin huge(7-8"), a 29 will not cut it long term but he will get a bigger tank in time.

anywhooo pics...

Thanks for the compliments guys, I wish the pics were better maybe I will post a video tomorrow some of them are quite stunning.

Better pics... most of the females still hide quite a bit but the males were front and center. They seemed to have perked up after a water change.
