First PBASS

I have always LOVED PBASS and finally have one. Here is a quick picture, could you guys help me ID him/her? Sorry for the low quality pic, I did not want to leave the lights on for too long to avoid stress. Thank you!

If you got it from your lfs it's most likely a farm raised hybrid monoXocell. Still cool looking fish. Get it on massivore and cut up fish as soon as you can.

My first pbass looked the same and i got addicted. The way they swim and hit their food is really fun to watch.

I would be thinking about switching out that coral skeleton and crushed coral substrate.

Hey Amiricle, your pbass is very nice. You have good amount of filtration and adding more pbass would be great. Pbass loves to be with each other and loves to compete for food. They are really smart fishes and each one will have its own different personality. Oh and welcome to the Darkside of Fishkeeping and Cichla collecting.
