Ok, so Iately i have refuced my amount of tanks from 20 tanks to 8 tanks. I now have more room and I want to setup a shoal of piranhas. The tank will be a 75 gallon. What species will work well? This has to be an amazing show tank.

With your size tank I think you are limited to reds. I'd start with 6 or 7, and you'll end up with 4 or 5. IMO the other pygo speices, piraya and cariba, grow to large to keep in a 75g.

Imo your best bet for that size tank would be a black mask elongatus. Will look very nice in a heavily planted tank if you wanna go that route. Serrasalmus Sanchezi is another great option.

If you are looking for a solo fish i would look for a 8-10" rhom. You will to spend some $$$ but it would certainly be show fish.

If you are looking for glass banger than you might want to look at another kind of fish. Most piranha are very skittish.
