So the bottom of my 125 gallon glass aquarium cracked about two weeks ago
which got the wheels turning for this project. The plan is to use 3 panes of glass from the 125 as viewing windows and add an "addition" to the back of it. I will seal the tank using a pond liner. Here are the lay out and dimension plans:

The tank will be 2' tall. These dimensions should bring the tank to 250+ gallons. Here are some pics from progress made yesterday and today:


These pics are from day one. The second was a glass "fitting".


These pics are from today. The framing for the glass is complete. The triangles on top are what I will be using for cross bracing. Much of this project was inspired by the 45 degree angle
So far I'm about $300 in and this includes the wood, adhesives, some tools I needed, and the pond liner. Shouldn't cost too much more to get this thing running. Liner will be here sometime next week and I will load some progress pics then. All comments are welcome.
