I just set up a 125g tank. I built this http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=176832 stand for it and the stand itself is level. my floor on the other hand is not. I filled the tank thinking that it was just non-level from left to right. But when the water got towards the top I saw that the tank was slightly twisted. probably less then a quarter in but with 125 gallons of water im a little scared. i put some pictures from my phone up. if you want some better ones ill get them when my girlfriend isnt sleeping next to my camera lol. Im pulling some of the water out now to lessen the stress.

Is the condition ok and im being paranoid or do I need to to more with the stand to level it? its currently shimmed quite a bit but I guess I could always do more haha.

ok well try this. here is a picture of a level on both sides of the tank. I tend to agree though. Is it ok if most of my wieght is supported on the 4 corners of the tank and the center supports?

Well I think Im going to drain it the rest of the way tonight and just level the floor out with some of that self leveling concrete. Ive waited like 10 years to have a tank this big i may as well do it right.

Any other advice from you guys would be super appreciated though.

Putting a foam layer underneth should help. Insulation type stuff.
I got a foam board at the hardware store and put it under my 150.

how thick should the foam be? is it like the 3/4" really dense stuff of the expanded polystyrene thats pretty soft? Ive read lots of posts saying to do this but no one say anything more then "get foam insulation" you know how may types of foam there is? lol
