In my 55 i just put 2 small Pbass 2" max. Along with 1 oscar and 1 Jack Dempsey..

I also just droped ina Maxi-flow 1200...Will this be ok or is it 2 much movement?

thanks

to much movment trust me i know i lost a tem 2weeks ago to my power head. how do i know it as my powerhead? as soon as i removed it from the tank nothing went wrong.

i have a tiny powerhead on my 60 gallon with my tiny pbass.. it's one i got free in a tank deal, so i really don't know how much water it is moving, i set it up on top of a ATI Hydro 5 foam filter so it adds more filtration to the tank too. the little Pbass love it, they do exercises in the flow and then go and rest in the hiding spots in the driftwood.. kinda fun to watch.

a powerhead would be fine with your pbass, as long as the current isnt to strong for them then its fine, since pbass are heavy eaters and make a lot of waste good powerhead with circulation would be fine

current is great but not like a sps coral tank

question is, do they get much current in wild life conditions?

it depends which species, and which place they were caught
theres so many places you can find pbass.
