I have a 75 gallon tank with a Male Texas (8") what I think may be a female JD (6") and a common Pleco (10") The Texas and JD are digging pits every where and swim at all times with each other. the Texas often shakes his head at the JD. Would these two species be able to create offspring?

PS. The JD was saved from a friends tank otherwise these two wouldn't have been kept together

Wehave had all kinds of cross breeds, I am almost possitive if they are a pair that you will get viable offspring. And Welcome to MFK!

Female JD? she's pretty ugly :P but has a really nice blue to her

think I should get rid of the Pleco?.. I mean it's inevitable that he will have to go. Still find it weird that every pet store sells a fish that requires a 6 foot tank! and doesn't mention that fact once.. lol

will he eat any eggs if given the chance?
