Hi have a vision 450 and 2 oscars 20cm long can i get somthing to help eat the uneaten food from the oscars just the small stuff that comes out there gills and mouth. Filter is an fx5 what is the best setup for it i have 2 trays of fluaval biomax and one with a carbon pad and floss. This is my first big tank with big fish water is getting a bit cloudy faster than i would like. 50% water chang weekley.

did you cycle the tank before adding the oscars? if not then that is probably why, what are the exact numbers of your water parameters? also carbon really isnt necessary in a filter at all unless you are trying to remove meds or something. im not sure on the set up of an Fx5 or how the water flows through it but how i usually have my canisters set up is sponges on the top and bottom and then all of the middle compartments of the filter i have filled with bio-media. With Os especially you need as much bio-media as possible.
 
tank size 450L 5f long 2f high i have hade a ehime 2229 wet drt filter and a aqua one 1200 since i got the oscars when thay where under 10cm i have swaped out the aqua one with the fx5 1 week ago and planing to take the ehime out as well after the fx5 cycles. 24.5C temp, ph 6.5, NH4 0, NO3 betwean 0 and 5 these are the only tests kits i have
