Hey everyone,

I’d like to have some input. I have a 125g 72” tank with FX6, SP13UV, and Aqueon 1250. My stocking: Green Phantom Pleco, Green Terror, EBJD, Tiger Oscar, Firemouth, crazy female convict and Red Jewel Cichlid.
Will this be fine or did I over stock? Should I pull out the Red Jewel and the Female Convict or just let it roll?

Welcome aboard ?

While they are young you should be OK.
Once they all hit adult size (oscar 14", GT 10") you may be overstocked.
By that time, territoriality may take a toll. reducing numbers naturally.
But ..... If you'r lucky, because they are all growing up together, they may work out some sort of detente.
May work out for some time but won't be a lifelong home for those fish . Maybe keep the Oscar and the fm,con. Remove the gt and jd as they grow out
I swear the Gt used to be not as aggressive when I first came into the hobby for real, in 1999.Is the main problem the GT and the Tiger Oscar? I’d like to prioritize the Tiger, Gt, EBJD, and the Green Phantom.

Welcome to the forum!
Oscar is the one that really fills the tank. One alone almost maxes a tank that size due to their size and waste output. Gt and jewel are the meanest in the tank, but it’s enough space to split it up.
