Well, picked up four RBP's and am pretty excited, they are still babies housed temporarily in a 54 gallon while their future home (180g) waits for a stand and some other equipment. Anywho, they are still babies about the size of a quarter and here's a picture of their present home.

no pictures of the P's because my camera stinks but you get the idea. I'm going to try the same "amazon" look for the 180g.

Was wondering if I'm missing anything as far as feeding or water parameters... thanks in advance for help.
Water:
ph 6.6
ammo 0
ite 0
ate 15 (planted)
kh 3
temp 81F

There is plenty of water movement and the fish seem to enjoy it but I wanted to ask do they enjoy a lot of water current?
They are currently eating some flake food every 3 days or so, brine shrimp, frozen blood worms and black worms... anything missing? When should I start feeding live food, there are currently some cardinals, cory's, SAE, and ottos in there, I will be moving the P's probably sometime mid to late august, do I have to worry about any of these getting eaten? There is plenty of shade and hiding spots, do they have a chance? and um... how do P's feel about snails?

snails? or food or... that tank is very well aquascaped, i like it a lot. some floating plants might look cool too.

That tank looks good.

Looks great!! Hope your p's are mighty happy! I'm sure they will be!

VERY NICE TANK/SETUP, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF YOUR OTHER FISH WILL MAKE UNTIL MID/LATE AUGUST. YOUR OTHER FISH WILL START MISSING PARTS OF THERE FINS AND THEN YOU WILL BE MISSING FISH. AS FAR AS FEEDING GOES, I WOULD MIX IT UP QUITE A BIT. RAW SHRIMP(SHELL ON), BEEF HEART(1-2 A MONTH), KRILL(GREAT FORCOLOR), FRESH FISH FILETS(WHATEVERS ON SALE), SQUID, HAMBURGER(WILL LEAVE A GREASY FILM ON TOP OF YOUR WATER), AND TRY NOT TO FEED GOLDFISH/ROSY REDS. IMO, I THINK BLACK WATER EXTRACT(WILL ADD A TAN TINT TO YOUR WATER) IS VERY HELPFUL FOR PIRANHA'S AND YOUR WATER AS WELL. GOOD LUCK! HAPPY FISH KEEPING!
