First ray soon! a R018 Motoro!!!!!

Today i was working at my LFS and he has had in a pair of RO18, Smooth Nose motoros, at £110 eah 6" Disic, and i was talking and he says i can have them at trade price at £50!, so tommorrow or wednesday im going to swap my 4 3" Indo Dats for a Ray and then hes gonna get me a male in as they are just 2 female. Im so siked. They are going in a 4x2x2 with a few small fish and some congos. Im siked!

I believe in the Aqualog they determined that Motoros actually come in a number of varieties due to physical characteristics such as body structure, eye placement, tail build, etc..

Potamotrygon sp "A", Potamotrygon sp "B", as well as the R018 he was talking about were all deemed distinct species by R.S. Rosa in his revision of potamotrygonidae.. just seems more confusing to me..

They all just Motoro..

make sure thats "just" a growout tank because thats really small for a motoro and sense your getting a female, which some have gwon bigger than 30 inches. So do alot of water changes.

Get both females, then get your boss to bring in a male. You'll have problems with aggression when they get bigger if you only have one male and one female.
