I am interested in a Crocodile Skink. This would be my first pet reptile and I don't really even know where to start. What is a good tank size for one, would a ten gallon tank be OK? Can you post some basic info about keep semi aquatic reptiles or just reptiles in general. What kinda equtiment should the tank have? How can I set up the tank so it has both land and water. Thanks for all your help and I am looking forward to your replies.

Oh and how much would one cost and where could I find one?

Sorry for saying this but I think you should start with something else like a bearded dragon or crested gecko;) Croc skinks are notorious for sudden death and inadaptacion(yes there are people out there that keep them for years and breed them but its a really hit or miss thing, many things come into consideracion, the keeper experience, if they are or not captive bred, etc) Overall however they are dificult and tricky to keep and not recomended for begginers under any circunstances. At least spend some years with hardier species, then rob a bank and buy a TRUE CAPTIVE BREED one, find if possible a local breeder, talk with him, learn how he keeps his animals and stuff. This is no animal to buy from a pet store 99,9% are wild cauth and demise is almost garanteed without specialist care

I started with my reef with no xp with fish keeping and nothing has died. Can you please answer my questions? I would like info on basic equipment and how to integrate water and land into a tank. Also how much time to crocodile skinks spend in water? Thanks :)

One of the key parts of owning any reptile is researching it's needs and requirements, why not have a read about, post us your action plan and we'll go from there?
