Found this very beautiful gulf coast box Turtle crossing the road friday, sadly I saw a few others that did not make it, but at least I saved one.

Oh no, Box turtles are not aquatic. I took the pic off my porch, I live right on a lake
 
Nice job, I do the same every chance I get. I helped a big fat snapper off the road on Saturday and she didn't even try to have a go at me.
