Just picked up my first saltwater tank. I wasnt ever into saltwater but u couldnt pass up this deal. I got a 55gal tank with stand with 50-60lbs of live sand,10lbs live rock, wave maker,60gal rated filter almost new,250watt heater, light fixture, 4 inch scorpion fish and a 6.5 inch lion fish for $100!!! I just had to buy it. I just currently set up the 55 with new salt water n waiting for it to settle in. Is a salt water tank hard to mantain? I only bought it to part it out, but it looks so beautiful i wanna keep it. Im still debating. Should i keep it? Saltwater tanks does look nice. Also tat lion fish looks amazing.

It's your opinion. Part of saltwater keeping is experience. I freaked the first time I got into it, but when you get the hang of things you'll find it's quite a bit easier to maintain than you may originally have thought.

I'd say go for it, but I may also be partially biased :p

Definitely keep it.
:D

That was an awesome deal btw. :D

Holy man. Not sure of the quality of what you got - or what condition it is in, but it sounds like a good price.

Do whatever you want - just keep the requirements of the animals and the care you will have to give them in mind before making a long term decision.

I'd keep it... but like everyone else here I'm a little biased as well.

FOWLR tanks aren't that much different than fresh water tanks IMO.
