Hello,

So far, I have only kept CA/SA cichlids, but I want to try something new. I picked up a 20g long, and I'd like to do a planted tank (which I am also new to). I read up on some example tang stocks and I am interested in the following species:

Julidochromis Regani
Julidochromis Transcriptus
Neolampragus Lelupi
Lamprologus Occelatus

Also, I would really like to breed at least one type of fish in this tank. What advice can you guys give me?

Your better off keeping two of those in a 20g long. Had the same stock in a 20g long and had many aggression problems. I do think the occelatus and either leleupi is good. The julis will interbreed.

Yes as both juli and leleupi will live amongst the rocks and they get to 4". they will fight for territory. Thats from my experience
