Here ya go. You had an extra bracket in there and you only need the part after the equal sign.

Looks nice and clean. What are your plans for stocking?

thanks so much i will try to edit it. i plan to have a pleco next, then i will try to mix an oscar and jaguar cichlid and if that works out a silvertip cat or a silver dollar or two. it all depends on how my fish get along and what they will tolerate.
i plan to take out the little fish and put them in a 10 or 30g.

nice tank....I have the same fake log lol... But your future stock list is way to much for a little 50 gallon....Big cichlids need 50 to 75 gallons just for themselves.... especially a jaguar...Oh and get a group of the same tetra's at least 5 then they will be happy and act normal.

I wouldn't even recommend an oscar in that size tank, let alone an oscar and any other fish.

Moving the tetras to another tank still doesn't explain why you got one of each. Tetras are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of 6+ IMO

haha same time^^^

Okay first. Get a bristlenose place. they only get 6" and eat algae better than commons. Commons can reach 2 feet or larger in size so they are a no no for a 55 gallon.

Second, A jaguar and an oscar will not get along forever. The jag will most likely kill the oscar. If that doesn't happen the oscar will get near 14" long which is wider than the width of the 55 gallon. I would suggest a 75 gallon or so for a oscar for life. The jag will not tolerate any tankmates when mature.

Third, DO NOT buy a silver tip cat. They are brackish water fish and will not live in freshwater for very long, not to mention they can reach 18".

Lastly, the silver dollar is a tetra, which means they need buddies, as do your other tetras. I would suggest at least 5 of them or they will become stressed out and die, as your neon probably did. Here is the problem with those though, they can reach dinner plate size in the wild and over 6" in captivity. They will become too big eventually for the standard 55 and probably damage themselves when they get spooked.

Not trying to shoot you down, just trying to give you friendly advice.:)

Your welcome. Try looking into some of the smaller sa/ca cichlids. They are some very beautiful ones that will not outgrow a 55 gallon. Rams would be a nice choice, or some apistos. Even the good old angels would be a nice addition. You could even go with some african cichlids such as some mbunas or malawi peacocks.
