First tig!

I got my first tig today from mike. Hes about 5inches right now...hoping to get him to 10in before he goes in my big tank. My question is what should i feed him to get him to put on some size fast ?

O btw hes in my 55g with 2 convicts, giraffe cat, lima, Senegal, indo dat, 3 CL

watch out with over feeding the little guy, i lost my tig due to that

Avoid feeding him shrimp right now. i use to feed mine every 2-3 days to avoid overfeeding, but you have alot of tank mates with him so make sure he get some food.

Congrats & g/l with your new TSN. I lost mine due to an attack from my Gar. He was about the same length as yours now. Try pellets for feeding just don't get carried away. & btw, I'm sure you know this by now but that 55g won't hold him for long lol

Is shrimp bad for Tig? or just don't feed it everyday?

At small sizes tigs seem to have a hard time digesting shrimp. Pellets are always best for growth and health.
