first time aquire of DWARF CICHLIDS

Like the fish as its color is nice....
not shy ... able to come out to look for food ...
next is to hope they can have fry soon ....
Can anyone experience give advised if they have to be put in water with
PH 6 to 5.5 in order to ease for them to have fry?
what type of filteration is best for them...as I scare those submersible pump will
be too strong and able suck those fry if any and kill them.

try using the sponge filters for filtration. I had some A. cac and those worked great. provided the bacterial colony wihtout the threat of sucked up fish. Other than that i cant be of much help.
