First Time as a Parent...

...That I have had to deal with an injury, to one of my kids...My son was jumping on his bed, fell off, and broke his arm:( He is only 3. I feel like crap. I feel like it is my fault. (And I can't get the three little monkeys song out of my head...) I would rather break my neck, than have my son be hurt at all.....
 
Don't feel bad. Now you have actual proof of why they shouldn't be jumping on the bed, as opposed to just some stupid song. Glad he wasn't seriously hurt, he'll probably listen to you next time....
 
I feel for you man. It's not your fault but you can't help feeling that it is, and there isn't a worse feeling in the world than seeing your child in pain. He will be alright, and so will you
 
Hopefully that is the only injury he'll get Bigspizz, and, lets face it, that is no big deal....it is when they grow up that we start to really worry...

Hope he mends okay and learnt the lesson, poor kiddie.
 
I'd say don't feel bad, but it is impossible for you to do as a good parent. Don't worry, he'll be alright. It's a tough moment, but both you and him will learn a lot from it. Keep you head cool, as your kids will be looking up to you in a time like this. Give the little guy confidence, and trust me that you will be able to turn this into a positive experience. Send my best wishes to junior and the rest of the family :)

Kids get hurt, they bounce back. He'll be fine, could have got a concusion. I had several accidents when I was younger and I'm fine. The part about the song is just funny!!!
 
feelin pain and guilt for you childs injury just shows how good of a parent you are, its all part of beeing a parent, he will be just fine, and so will you
 
Hope little Rico is okay. He's a cute little guy.
