Hey guys this will be my first time attempting to breed fish and was wondering what the easiest to do would be? Mollies or Convicts? I know I need to put a sponge over the filter intake and if i choose convicts i know i need something flat correct? Is there anything else I should know? Basically I want to choose the fish that will provide the most feeders but is also the most simple. Thanks for any input

Convicts are the most simple, I believe, but it's also really easy for those convict feeders to turn into "convict killers" in your tank. Do a search of MFK about what has happened to some people who use convicts for feeders and it backfires. Mollies are safer, but not as productive.

Convicts and mollies are about the same in putting in any sort of effort to make them breed. They pretty much do it own their own..........

sweet - as far as the baby cons turning in to killers i had planned to hand feed them to my oscar and bichirs so i dont think they'll be getting away ;)
