first time my senegal ate live food

i was digging a hole for a dog runner outside and i found a small worm so i put it i the tank to see what would happen. and when i came back inside to check on it and the worm was gone and a squiggly lump in the senegals tummy.

is this like feeding him blood or tubifex worms or is it unhealthy and can pollute the water?

Make sure that they are bite size and are just as good as blood or tubiex worms if not better. Shouldn't pollute water if eaten completely.

it looked like a red wiggler fish bait worm. is that just as good or better?

Worms are excellent food provided they haven;t been exposed to pesticides or fertilizer-Anne
