Hello guys. I've been surfing around for info for the past 2 or 3 weeks and I came across your forums a few times offering some good advice, so I thought I would join. I have been out of the hobby for a while, but now my kids are interested so I get to dive back in.
I've had many different tanks of various shapes and sizes over the years (including saltwater), but my favorite tank was always my South Americans. I had 2 Oscars (red and albino), a Jack Dempsey, a Gold Severum, and a big daddy pleco. Oscars rock! They have such awesome personality. Anyways, we'll be starting a little smaller for my kiddos. I'm hoping to get myself...I mean them, my kids..yes, this is for my kids...cough, cough...a Leopard Ctenopoma as their "show fish". I'm hoping it won't be too difficult to find one. I'm going to post in another forum about this, though. Anyways...looking forward to chatting with you guys and gleaning from your many accumulative years of experience. Thanks. Lance.
