So I have been to this site many many times as I'm active on other fish forums and lots of links get posted from this forum but have never posted for some reason. Well here is my introduction.
My name Is Lon and I have been keeping fish for prolly 15 to 20yrs on and off. I have had everything from Snakeheads to Black fin tetras over the yrs. If I had to rate my favorite fish over the yrs it would go
1) Redline snakehead
2) Flowerhorn
3) Oscars
4) Pacu
5) Rhom
Red Devils fall in there some place also. I have breed them for a few yrs and just got rid of my last one a few weeks ago. I called her spots and had a really hard time letting her go. So a freind of mine has her now. As of right now I have just a few tanks up and running. The idea is to get one big tank going and be done with all the little tanks. I think at one point I had 2 50 breeders running, 4 10g tanks, a 55g, a 29 long, a 15 tall, a 90g all running at once while growing out red devil fry and breeding. I don't live in a large house so the wife was not to happy. lol So I picked up this new 220g tank a few weeks ago and have been slowly getting it ready to go. So here are some pics of what i have going on.

220 gal 6' X 2' X 30" tall. The boy likes it and uses it as a fort. Don't worry I made him stay out from under it while it was filling and for the next day or so. Since the pic. I added some rocks to the aquascape a flower pot and a few filters and heaters.

I still have my 90g set up and running but it's coming down once the 220 is a go. It's housing a flowerhorn right now thats going to move to the 220. Here is a pic of him. I have had him since he was about 1" and is a run of the mill LFS flowerhorn.

For the 220 I'm really up in the air on the stocking list but my buddy showed me this pic and I really like it so i may try to copy it.

I also have a 29ish gallon tank 24" wide X 16" high X 18" wide set up and running with 5 Exodon paradox in it and one crayfish.

Cool little fish but kinda boring already.

I Hope to be more active on here . By the way I'm all up for hearing ideas on stocking the 220 tank.

My least favorite fish of all time. Stupid shy texas that would kill any tank mate over night and hide all day long. Wouldn't even come out for food. I had this fish for awhile too. So it wasn't like he was just not use to his surroundings.

Another lame fish. Parrot fish
newparrot 001.jpg

The mother of all my red Devils. She was a very cool fish and for her size very nasty. She wouldn't take any **** from anyone or anything. She was a Syphon tube SLAYER!!

Big Boy. He was my favorite fish for a long time and the pappa of most of my fry. This is one of my last pics of him before he passed on.

Betta I had for awhile. Seemed to have fin rot or something. he was cool though.
flowhorn 093.jpg

My flowerhorn thats pictured above when i first got him. he really is a cool fish! He is like a pet and not just a decoration. he lets me pet him when he's in the mood and will eat from my fingers.
