Hi, I have a few question about sumps since Ive always used canisters.
1) Im upgrading to a 8x4x2 for my two motoros and Florida gar do you recommend using a sump or multiple canisters? If a sump how large should it be? If canisters how many and what type(s)?
2) What size of overflow box should I have and where to get it all ive been able to find are the hang on the back ones and not the internal ones.
3) Where should the overflow box be placed and where should all the holes be drilled? What size of holes? (ill practice first on crap material of acrylic until I have it down)
4) Weldon 40? What do you use to apply this stuff weldon 4 uses a applicator bottle? I was going to first use Weldon 4 then put the Weldon 40 along the seems like I was laying down a bead of silicone. Ive read some guys post on Weldon 40 but I could never find an actual video online just the instructions of the stuff.
5) Ive built acrylic tanks in the past but never this big so I didn't know if Weldon 4 is strong enough.
