Ok so I kinda cheated and purchased a proven breeding trio for a great price but so what, this is my first experience with breeding these and I have been waiting, saw the male finally move around the cave yesterday so I had my hopes up and today he was in there just a little while ago. I dont really know if they will make it though, I probably should move them to my sump but I have a horde of guppies breeding in there along with other fry, can never have enough tanks when trying to breed different types of fish all at once. Here are the pics, any suggestions or thoughts would be great, thanks also. IMG_2715.JPGIMG_2718.JPGIMG_2726.JPGIMG_2727.JPGIMG_2729.JPG

Looks like more eggs today are in the cave, it must be slow over here not a single post. lol

Thanks Ya I have lots more eggs now. 2 bunches in the log so I am thinking like 45ish

did you do anything special ? like playing with the ph or water level ? I always wanted to try, but never did have the time to. Must be really exciting.

No I didn't do anything special. Main thing that everyone that I talked to local said get a cave and then place a rock kinda over the top of it for the female to be able to hang around. So I did just that and they were in the tank for about a week and under and around some other rock caves then as I said the dad checked the pleco cave out and next day eggs.

Will do. And Ya it's really fun to have so much breeding in the tank. Next I am working on my Jack Dempsey I got 2 large females and a male the other day that someone didn't want . Free. So I am going to work on that next.

Wow, really cool! Keep us posted!

As far as I have been told. And so far looks to work.
