First time noticing Fry in my tank (40 gallons tons of rock 2males 6females community) I have noticed my females holding several times, but have not actually seen any fry in the tank. I noticed today that there are a few 1/4 inch babies moving around under my rocks. They are free swimming and don't venture very far from their hiding spots. I have counted at least 6, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are more. I was wondering if I should segregate the young or not. I have caught 3 so far and they were NOT easy to rangle. Should I get the rest? Thanks for your help.

Yes, you should segregate the fry. Try using a plastic hose to siphon the fry. Good luck.

I can't get the quick one. Using a Half inch hose to try and get him. That little guy is a quick and powerful swimmer. My have to take out all my adults and remove the rocks to catch em. Thanks for the help.
