Fish abuse on youtube, opinion?

Do ya'll know any fish abusers on YT or any other social media with a large following? One I know goes by bass fishing production, and he horribly mistreats fish and misinforms his millions viewers, he throws monster fish in sewers or other disgusting places, and "catches" them with fish traps. How do people like this get so many followers?

Because the followers are as scum like and demented as the people who post such content, and that also goes for people who tune in regularly and watch it!!

It's because a majority of these viewers know nothing about fish/fishkeeping and literally believe anything told to them by these so-called 'influencers.' It's frustrating, but hopefully, with more awareness, people will start to seek out better, more responsible sources of information.

I don't know of any particular egregious fishkeeping YouTubers (besides the one mentioned by the OP), but I am aware of the problems this misinformation causes. I really wish there was some censorship of information to filter out the bs in the fishkeeping community.

I’m quite surprised and astonished that there isn’t a single decent YouTuber or influencer out there exposing these abominations, especially since people these days are very quick to criticize everything else. It’s frustrating to see such practices go unchallenged.
