Fish Acting Strange

i just got home from a 10 day vacation and had my folks feeding my fish. 5 of my tanks checked out OK but there is something wrong with my big tank. my gar and channel catfish have been very skittish lately. my channel usually takes food out of my hand and swims up to the top of the tank to be fed, now every time i walk by or sit next to my tank they cower and my channel darts away very fast and smacks his head against the wall. he has eaten two small cuts of fish fillet and 3 hikari carnivore pellets. the channel is about 13"-14" in my 75. my gar is also 13"-14" but has been skittish too, he usually swims to hand looking for a pet or pellet but now he darts away and goes straight to the bottom. is it possible my parents could have done something to but my fish into a traumatic shock? all water parameters are normal and in check. Also, I'm trying to clean out my 400 outdoor pond for them. Could you tell me what might be wrong with the channel and gar?
 
Maybe its a problem with chemicals...like someone used windex or sprayed febreeze over the tank
 
your fish probably aren't used to many people coming close to the tank. Or could be the lighting, if the lights were left off for awhile and turned back on it can make them really skittish.
 
Your fish were used to your routine with them and the tank, and your parents routine has them all confused and also agree with pdk2089
