Carpintis always hiding with his girl, giant danios did not work.
So I got them a background, but the parrot got more nervous. Still hiding inside the flowerpot.
What if i remove all the hiding decor?

decor: 1 sinking boat, 1 big flowerpot, 1 small flowerpot, 1 flowerpot plate.
4' background, and small gravels.
fish: 6" male carpintis, 5" female kkp, 2 giant danios 4", 1 geophagus juri 4".
tank size: 75g, maybe its too big? danios, geo, and parrot won't grow anymore.

i know u feel bro...i've got a pair of carpintis i've had for a few months now alone in a 90 gallon tank and still they're shy and hiding alot. At least your pair are hiding together. The only time mine come out is when my male is chasing my female around. As soon as I come near the tank...back they go hiding again.

I had the same problem with my Gt in the 130g, i added a few fish, changed up the decor and stuff, he always cruising around now. I know how you feel, it sucks wen your fish just sit there.

your lucky enough that the male did not murder the female, my male killed its female and the escondido. And i had it for 6 months. It always hide and sleep with the kkp.
