Hey everyone,
I know some of you guys were freaked out when I posted that I would take anyones catfish that had died, and would offer money for it. Well I just wanted to post some pics to show exactly what I do. I articulate the skeletons of fish, and compare them. I have been doing this for some time, and not only to fish. I never have killed an animal for it's skull or skeleton. I have a genuine respect and love for all living things. I would never condone that anyone else would do that either. Some people say that what I do is a type of taxidermy, others say it is art. I like to think of it as a mixture of art and science. You make up your own minds, and let me know what you think. I hope that you think no less of me for what I do. I love all of my fish and would never harm them no matter how picky or annoying they can be sometimes. LOL.
None the less enjoy the pics and give me some feedback. I am studying to be a paleozoologist. I hope to one day curate my own natural history museum.
Thanks
CLifford
The first pic is of a rainbow trout skull. It is from a hatchery fish and is deformed in it's mandibles.
The next three pics are of a marble catfish skeleton recently articulated by me. It was killed by one of my hybrids that didn't like to share space with it. Funny thing is the hybrid was smaller.
