In this particularly horrendous global economy, has anyone else taken to trapping/catching sunfish and crawdads as a supplementary food source?

I have a dam with a weir, and three crawdad traps. I get at least two hearty meals a week.

oh I though this was for fish, I was thinking " it costs to much for a tub of flake or pellets? "

couldn't you just go drop a cow or deer or something and fill your freezer full of venison or beef? or is your hunting seasons over or something?

and aqua, lol, I'm sure those crappies are delicious. haha

Eh, I hate using firearms. I find it alot more satisfying to trap or fish. Besides, fish and crawdads are WAY better for you than fatty mammal-meat. (As long as your waterway is clean)
