Yes.
I play my bass guitar in front of my 180. I'm sure the low frequencies travel through water quite nicely.

Sit in the room. Not directly in front of. You have to have common sense!?!? I play my acoustic "finger style" while watching my fish. Definitely less sound than the average home with the screaming ass kids.
