My wife wants to get the attic fogged, last timewe did this, there was alot coming into the house, but no fish at the time. Whats the best way to protect them if we have the attic fogged again?
Its a 125 with a canopy

I have never dealt with fogging a house but Im assuming that it would have to be vacated for at least a few hours. You will either need to seal the tank completely or move it, I know you dont want to move it so then it becomes the question. Can the tank make it that long sealed up?

How many and what types of fish are in the tank?

Its not the whole house, just the attic. But the fog powder stuff does find its way into the living areas a bit.

Plastic bag(s)and Duct tape. Double wrapped. Most pesticides aren't water soluble but always check with the pesticide company. Keep a portable bubbler. Once got the ok to enter the house from the exterminators then take off the plastic and throw away.

If the pesticides are air born then an Air stone and pump wouldn't be a good idea unless you can assure the air the pump is pumping into the water is clean and clear of the poison.

Could you seal the room that the tank is in? I believe that would be the best way to remedy this.
Instead of the tank seal the room???
